REPUBLIC ACT No. 11102

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE SOCCSKSARGEN GENERAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SURALLAH, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established a general hospital in the Municipality of Surallah, Province of South Cotabato, to be known as the SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital.

Section 2. The Department of Health in consultation and coordination with local government officials concerned shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.

Section 3. Scope. – The provincial government of South Cotabato shall provide funding for the establishment of the SOCCSKARGEN General Hospital in the Municipality of Surallah, Province of South Cotabato. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Department’s programs the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. All laws, decrees, orders, ordinances, issuances, rules and regulations or parts whereof which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.1âwphi1

This Act was passed by the Senate of the Philippines as Senate Bill No. 1586 on July 24, 2018 and adopted by the House of Representatives as an amendment to House Bill No. 5881 on September 10, 2018.
