[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6331, June 19, 1971 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ARTIFICIAL BREEDING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LUNA, PROVINCE OF KALINGA-APAYAO, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Bureau of Animal Industry, an artificial breeding station in the Municipality of Luna, Province of Kalinga-Apayao at a site to be selected by the Director of Animal Industry, to be known as Apayao Artificial Breeding Station.

Section 2. The Director of Animal Industry shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Section 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction of office, building, laboratory, equipment, animal sheds, supplies and materials and such other expenses of said artificial breeding station during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-one.  Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.1âшphi1

Section 4.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
