REPUBLIC ACT No. 1957

An Act to Convert the Pablo Borbon Memorial Trade School in the Municipality of Batangas, Province of Batangas, into a Regional School of Arts and Trades to be Known as the Pablo Borbon Memorial Regional School of Arts and Trades, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The Pablo Borbon Memorial Trade School in the Municipality of Batangas, Province of Batangas, is converted into a regional school of arts and trades to be known as the Pablo Borbon Memorial Regional School of Arts and Trades. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

Section 2. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the said school during the school year nineteen hundred fifty-seven to nineteen hundred fifty-eight. Thereafter, the same amount shall be included in the General Appropriation Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
