BY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS‑
A PROCLAMATION.

Whereas, the nineteenth day of January, nineteen hundred and nine, has been specially designated by proclamation of the Governor-General for the election of a delegate to the Philippine Assembly from the Province of Cavite as provided for in section four of Act Numbered Fifteen hundred and eighty-two:

Now, therefore, I, James F. Smith, Governor-General of the Philippine Islands, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section two of Act Numbered Sixteen hundred and seventy-one, do hereby proclaim the said nineteenth day of January, nineteen hundred and nine, to be a public holiday within the said Province of Cavite.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Government of the Philippine Islands to be affixed
