[ PROCLAMATION NO. 79, October 18, 2022 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, 31 OCTOBER 2022, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1236 dated 29 October 2021 declared 01 November 2022 (All Saint's Day), Tuesday, as a Special (Non-Working) Day throughout the country; and;

WHEREAS, the declaration of 31 October 2022, falling on a Monday, as Special (Non-Working) Day will strengthen family ties and promote domestic tourism.1a⍵⍴h!1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, 31 October 2022, as a Special (Non-Working) Day throughout the country.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
