[ PROCLAMATION NO. 45, August 25, 2022 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIQUIJOR, PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR

WHEREAS, on 12 September 1972, President Ferdinand E. Marcos signed Proclamation No. 1075 declaring the Municipality of Siquijor as the capital of the Province of Siquijor;

WHEREAS, on 12 September 2022 (Monday), the Municipality of Siquijor will mark the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of this historical day;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Siquijor be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 12 September 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Siquijor, Province of Siquijor.ℒαwρhi৷
