DECLARING SATURDAY, 20 AUGUST 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA

WHEREAS, the City of Lucena was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 3271 dated 17 June 1961;

WHEREAS, the City of Lucena was formally inaugurated as a Chartered City on 20 August 1961;

WHEREAS, on 20 August 2022, Saturday, the City of Lucena will mark the celebration of its 61st Charter Anniversary (Araw ng Lucena);

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lucena be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 20 August 2022, a special (non-working) day in the City of Lucena.1âшphi1
