DECLARING TUESDAY, 2 SEPTEMBER 2014, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBAY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, 2 September 2014, marks the 149th birth anniversary of the late General Simeon A. Ola, the last revolutionary general to surrender at the end of the Philippine-American War;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the Province of Albay, the opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare 2 September 2014, as a special (non-working) day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Tuesday, 2 September 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Albay.ℒαwρhi৷
