DECLARING THURSDAY, 19 JUNE 2014, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA

WHEREAS, Thursday, 19 June 2014 marks the 153rd birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero and the 1st BUHAYANI Festival, “Buhay ng Bayani, Buhay na Bayani”, in honor of fellow Calambenos who personify Rizals heroism;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Calamba be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Thursday, 19 June 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Calamba.1aшphi1
