[ PROCLAMATION NO. 89, December 29, 2010 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2010, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF IBAAN, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

WHEREAS, on December 30, 2010, the people of the Municipality of Ibaan will be celebrating their traditional town fiesta;

WHEREAS, December 30 has always been declared as a regular holiday as it commemorates the death anniversary of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal;

WHEREAS, Proclamation 1841, s. 2009, moved the celebration of the death anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal from December 30, 2010 to December 27, 2010, making the former a working holiday;

WHEREAS, the people of the Municipality of Ibaan should be given ample time to celebrate their town fiesta through appropriate ceremonies.ℒαwρhi৷

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by the power of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Thursday, December 30, 2010, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Ibaan, Province of Batangas.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
