DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 11 TO 17, 2010 AS SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute for Supply Management (PISM), is a non-stock, non-profit organization of purchasing and materials managers of the countrys top corporations;

WHEREAS, purchasing and materials managers and PISM help upgrade the quality and competitiveness of Philippine goods and services for both the domestic and foreign markets;

WHEREAS, it is desirable that the important role played by the purchasing and materials managers in commerce and industry be brought to the attention of the people;

WHEREAS, the PISM will hold SUPPLYLINK2010, with the theme “Break Through Borders! Conquer New Heights!”.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from April 11 to 17, 2010 as Supply Chain Management Week.1aшphi1
