DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN LAOAG CITY

WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 10, 2010, the City of Laoag marks the “Laoag City Day” and celebrates the feast of its patron saint, St. William the Hermit;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of Laoag full opportunity to celebrate the festival as a day of thanksgiving and renewal of love for their city, it is but fitting and proper to declare February 10, 2010 as non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 10, 2010, as special (non-working) day in Laoag City.
