DECLARING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TARLAC

WHERAS, Wednesday, April 19, 2006, marks the conversion of the Municipality of Tarlac into a City, which was signed into law by then President Fidel V. Ramos, and was ratified by the people of Tarlac thru a plebiscite;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tarlac be given full opportunity to celebrate the momentous event in the history of Tarlac, in a series of activities aimed at promoting the city’s rich culture, products and resources.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, April 19, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Tarlac.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
