DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, Monday, September 23, 2002, marks the 2nd Anniversary of the Cityhood of Masbate;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of Masbate be given full opportunity to celebrate its 2nd Charter Day with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Monday, September 30, 2002, as a special non-working holiday in the City of Masbate.
