DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 11, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL

WHEREAS, the Province of Rizal was formally established on June 11, 1901;

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 11, 2002, marks the 101st Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Rizal;

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Rizal should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with fitting ceremonies and programs that will recall their glorious past and rekindle in them deep nationalistic sentiments necessary for the task of nation-building;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 11, 2002, as a special non-working day in the Province of Rizal.1aшphi1
