DECLARING A DAY OF NATIONAL MOURNING OVER THE DEATH OF MAESTRO LUCIO SAN PEDRO, NATIONAL ARTIST

WHEREAS, the death of Maestro Lucio San Pedro, national artist, is a big loss to our music loving nation;

WHEREAS, it is fitting to set aside a day of national mourning to honor a great Filipino who has left an enduring legacy to our people.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare a day of national mourning on April 11, 2002, for national artist Lucio San Pedro.1aшphi1 Flags of all government buildings and institutions throughout the country shall, on that day, be flown at half mast.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
