DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF PARAÑAQUE
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8507 converting the Municipality of Parañaque into a highly-urbanized city was signed into law on February 13, 1998;
WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 13, 2002, marks the Fourth Cityhood Anniversary of the City of Parañaque;
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of Parañaque be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their citys history with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 13, 2002, as a special non-working day in the City of Parañaque.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
