DECLARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2001, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF PARAÑAQUE

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8507 converting the Municipality of Parañaque into a highly-urbanized city was signed into law by former President FIDEL V. RAMOS on February 13, 1998;

WHEREAS, Tuesday, February 13, 2001, marks the Third Cityhood Anniversary of the City of Parañaque;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of Parañaque be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their citys history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, February 13, 2001, as a special day in the City of Parañaque.1aшphi1
