AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 153 DATED MARCH 19, 1993, BY TRANSFERRING THE OBSERVANCE OF THE SECRETARIES WEEK TO THE LAST FULL WEEK OF APRIL OF EVERY YEAR INSTEAD OF THE THIRD WEEK OF APRIL OF EVERY YEAR

WHEREAS, the Philippine Association of Secretaries is recognized for its vital role in promoting professionalism in the private sector;

WHEREAS, Secretaries Week is internationally celebrated on the last full week of April of each year with the intervening Wednesday designated as Secretaries Day;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Association of Secretaries should be given the opportunity to commemorate its annual anniversary with fitting ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 153 dated March 19, 1993, by transferring the observance of the Secretaries Week to the last full week of April of every year, instead of the third week of April of every year, under the auspices of the Philippine Association of Secretaries.1aшphi1
