DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 14, 2001, AS A SPECIAL DAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, April 14, 2001, falls on a Saturday, between Good Friday and Easter Sunday;

WHEREAS, the said day, April 14, 2001, may be declared a special day without detriment to public service to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe and ponder on the significance of Lent.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 14, 2001, as a special day throughout the country.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
