DECLARING TUESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO

WHEREAS, Tuesday, January 15, 2002, marks the celebration in the City of San Pablo of the Feast Day of Saint Paul, the First Hermit, the patron saint of the City;

WHEREAS, coinciding with the feast is the holding of the Annual Coconut Festival (a local Mardi Gras) which is now on its sixth (6th) year and already recognized by the Department of Tourism and the National Historical Institute;

WHEREAS, it is proper that the people of the City of San Pablo be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, January 15, 2002, as a special non-working day in the City of San Pablo.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
