RESERVING FOR OFFICE SITE AND HOUSING PURPOSES FOR THE QUIRINO PROVINCIAL POLICE OFFICE AND PNP HOUSING SITE, RESPECTIVELY, A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED AT BARANGAY SAN LEONARDO, MUNICIPALITY OF AGLIPAY, PROVINCE OF QUIRINO, ISLAND OF LUZON

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of Section No. 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby set aside for the Quirino Provincial Police Office and PNP Housing Site, subject to private rights, if any there be, a parcel of land of the public domain situated at Barangay San Leonardo, Municipality of Aglipay, Province of Quirino, Island of Luzon, which is more particularly described and bounded as follows, to wit:

A parcel of land identical to SWO-2-08-000025, as surveyed for the QUIRINO PROVINCIAL HEADQUARTERS SITE, situated in the barrio of San Leonardo, Municipality of Aglipay, Province of Quirino, Island of Luzon; bounded on the NW., along line 1-2 by Ligaya Barangay Site; on the NE., along lines 2-3-4 both by Public Land, claimed by Provincial Headquarters; on the SE., along line 4-5 by Road 10.00 m. wide; and on the SW., along lines 5-6-1, both by National Road, 60.00 m. wide. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being N. 85 deg. 51W., 6088.37 m. from BLLM No. 1, Pls-963.

Thence S. 56 deg. 40E., 200.00 m. to point 3;

All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: Corners 5 & 1 are marked by FR. and 2-3-4-6 by BL cyl. conc. mons. 15×40 cms. Bearing true. Date of survey on July 25, 1977, and that the survey was executed by Geodetic Engineer SANTOS V. VALLANGCA, and was approved on March 21, 1979.

A parcel of land, being a portion of SWO-2-08-000025, as surveyed for the Quirino Provincial Headquarters Site, situated in the barrio of San Leonardo, Municipality of Aglipay, Province of Quirino, Island of Luzon; bounded on the SE., along line 1-2 by barangay road, on the SW., along line 2-3 by National Road, on the NW., along lines 3-4-5-6 by Parcel III hereof, on the NE., along line 6-1 by Public Land (timberland). Beginning at a point marked “1” being N. 85-41W, 5604.26 m. from BLLM No. 1, Pls-963.

A parcel of land, being a portion of SWO-2-08-000025, as surveyed for the Quirino Provincial Headquarters Site, situated in the barrio of San Leonardo, Municipality of Aglipay, Province of Quirino, Island of Luzon; bounded on the NW., along line 1-2, and on the SE., along line 2-3 both by Public Land (timberland), on the SE., and SW., along lines 3-4 and 4-1 by Parcel III hereof. Beginning at a point marked “1” being N. 84-37" W, 6015.12 m. from BLLM No. 1, Pls-963.

FOR PROVINCIAL PNP OFFICE SITE

A parcel of land, being a portion of SWO-2-08-000025, as surveyed for the Quirino Provincial Headquarters Site, situated in the barrio of San Leonardo, Municipality of Aglipay, Province of Quirino, Island of Luzon; bounded on the NW., along line 1-2 by public land (timberland), line 2-3-4 by Parcel II hereof, on the N., along lines 4-5-6 by public land (timberland), on the E., along lines 6-7-8-9 by Parcel I hereof, and on the S., along line 9-10-1 by National Road. Beginning at a point marked “1”, being N. 85-51W, 6088.00 m. from BLLM No. 1, Pls-963.

The area covered by the reservation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision and control of the Philippine National Police of Quirino. However, the disposition of the timber and other forest products found therein are subject to Forestry and Internal Revenue Laws, Rules and Regulations, and the area shall automatically be reverted to its former status in the event that the same is no longer needed, or failure to occupy and introduce development, by the reservee five (5) years upon the date of this Proclamation.
