[ Proclamation No. 374, September 13, 2000 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION ASSOCIATION (PHILCONSA) TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Philippine Constitution Association (PHILCONSA) for over 30 years has been upholding and protecting the Philippine Constitution. Inspite of its achievements in this area, PHILCONSA does not have a headquarter which it can call its own;

WHEREAS, the PHILCONSA needs the support of the general public and the citizenry in realizing this worthy endeavor;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Philippine Constitution Association (PHILCONSA) to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
