DECLARING SATURDAY, AUGUST 26, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAS NIEVES, AGUSAN DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections has scheduled the plebiscite day for the ratification of the creation of Barangay Casiklan and the change of name of Barangay Camboayon to Barangay Eduardo G. Montilla in the Municipality of Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte on Saturday, August 26, 2000;

WHEREAS, to enable the residents of the said municipality to actively participate in the scheduled political exercise, there is a need to declare the plebiscite day as special day.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, August 26, 2000, as a special day in the Municipality of Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
