DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 2, 2000, marks the 50th Foundation Day anniversary of the City of Butuan;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Butuan be given the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 2, 2000, as a special day in the City of Butuan.
