DECLARING THE CASECNAN RIVER WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF DUPAX DEL NORTE, DUPAX DEL SUR, PROVINCE OF NUEVA VIZCAYA, MUNICIPALITIES OF MADELLA AND DIPACULAO, PROVINCES OF QUIRINO AND AURORA, RESPECTIVELY, ISLAND OF LUZON, AS A PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT 7586 (NIPAS ACT OF 1992) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS CASECNAN PROTECTED LANDSCAPE
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby set aside and declare Casecnan River Watershed Forest Reserve situated in the Municipalities of Dupax del Norte, Dupax del Sur, Province of Nueva Vizcaya, Municipalities of Madella and Dipaculao, Provinces of Quirino and Aurora, respectively, Island of Luzon, as Protected Area under the category of Protected Landscape, subject to private rights and without prejudice to the rights of the indigenous peoples as provided for in R. A. 8371, DENR Administrative Order 93-02 and other related rules and regulations, if any, as described in DENR NIPAS Map R02-07 with the following technical descriptions.
Beginning at corner “1” a point located N 42° 15E, about 1,925.0 meters from the junction of Casecnan River and Tayabong River and with longitude 121° 2703” and latitude 16° 0252” in the Province of Quirino;
