DECLARING THE LIBUNAO SPRING WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SINAIT, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, ISLAND OF LUZON AS PROTECTED AREA UNDER THE CATEGORY OF PROTECTED LANDSCAPE PURSUANT TO R. A. 7586 (NIPAS ACT OF 1992) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS LIBUNAO PROTECTED LANDSCAPE

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby set aside and declare Libunao Spring Watershed Forest Reserve, situated in the Municipality of Sinait, Province of Ilocos Sur, Island of Luzon as Protected Area under the category of Protected Landscape subject to private rights and without prejudice to the rights of the Indigenous Peoples as provided for in R. A. No. 8371, DENR Administrative Order 93-02 and other related rules and regulations, if any, as described in DENR NIPAS Map No. R1-09.

The Libunao Protected Landscape begins at Corner “1” on the map identical to Forest Reserve corner No. 26.

Thence N. 52° 13'50"E. 164.954 m. to corner 4;

Thence S. 47° 56'38"E. 552.152 m. to corner 7;
Thence S. 56° 46 ‘8"W. 429.974 m. to corner 8;
Thence N. 64° 6'57"W. 772.295 m. to corner 1; of

beginning, containing an area of Forty-Six and 70/100 (46.70) Hectares subject to actual ground survey.1aшphi1

This area shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the DENR and shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of the NIPAS Act of 1992.
