DECLARING THE ROOSEVELT NATIONAL PARK SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF DINALUPIHAN AND HERMOSA, PROVINCE OF BATAAN AS A PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT 7586 (NIPAS ACT OF 1992) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS ROOSEVELT PROTECTED LANDSCAPE

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby set aside and declare Roosevelt National Park consisting of parcel of land situated in the Municipalities of Dinalupihan and Hermosa, province of Zambales as Protected Area under the category of Protected Landscape, subject to private rights and without prejudice to the rights of the indigenous peoples as provided for in R. A. No. 8371, DENR Administrative Order 93-02, and other related rules and regulations, if any, as described in DENR NIPAS Map No. R3-7.1aшphi1

The Roosevelt Protected Landscape beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being North 60° 00" East 900 meters from triangulation station, Mt. Sta. Rita corner “1”.

The Protected Area shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the DENR and shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of the NIPAS Act of 1992 and its implementing rules and regulations.
