DECLARING MARCH 8 OF EVERY YEAR AS “ARAW NG COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE”, AND TO FURTHER DECLARE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE

WHEREAS, Wednesday, March 8, 2000, marks the 2nd Foundation Day Anniversary of Compostela Valley Province;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Compostela Valley Province be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their provinces history with appropriate ceremony;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare March 8 of every year as “Araw ng Compostela Valley Province”, and to further declare Wednesday, March 8, 2000, as a special day in Compostela Valley Province.
