CREATING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAYS DAJA DAKU AND TAGLAWIGAN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN ISIDRO, AND BARANGAY JUBAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALUBIAN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748
Upon the recommendation of the Director General, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and Resolution No. 97-358 dated November 5, 1997 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, an area located in Barangays Daja Daku and Taglawigan in the Municipality of San Isidro, and Barangay Jubay in the Municipality of Calubian, Province of Leyte, as a special economic zone, henceforth to be known as THE AMIHAN WOODLANDS TOWNSHIP, consisting of TWENTY THREE MILLION ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY SIX (23,126,856) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
