MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 233, January 27, 2000 ] CREATING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN LANDS OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BRGY. UMIRAY DINGALAN, AURORA PROVINCE AND IN BRGY. UMIRAY, GEN. NAKAR, QUEZON PROVINCE AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE AND TOURISM ESTATE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as a Special Economic Zone and Tourism Estate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the pertinent laws, rules and regulations of the Department of Agrarian Reform and Department of Environment and Natural Resources, an area located in Brgy. Umiray, Dingalan, Aurora Province, and in Brgy, Umiray, Gen. Nakar, Quezon Province, henceforth to be known as the “Pacific Coast City Ecozone”, consisting of 30,000 hectares, more or less as delineated in Annex “A” hereof, to be developed in accordance with the last paragraph of Section 6 Republic Act No. 7916.
