DECLARING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 1999 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF ZAMBOANGA

WHEREAS, December 8, 1999 marks an occasion for thanksgiving for the people of Zamboanga City to further strengthen their commitment for the promotion of peace in the area; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the residents of Zamboanga City be given the full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PRESIDENT JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, December 8, 1999 as a special day in Zamboanga City.

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
