MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 5, August 7, 1998 ] DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 10, 1998 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEZON WHEREAS, August 10, 1998, marks the 100th birth anniversary of Lorenzo M. Tañada, an outstanding Senator and nationalist; WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of the Province of Quezon, his birth place should at least be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies; NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book 1, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Monday, August 10, 1998 as a special day in the Province of Quezon.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
