[ Proclamation No. 48, November 13, 1998 ]
AUTHORIZING THE TAHANAN OUTREACH PROJECTS AND SERVICES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR
WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 1097, series of 1997, the Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc., (TOPS), in order to enable it to raise sufficient funds to attain the laudable goals of mainstreaming disadvantaged children, normalizing socially maladjusted youth, hand-in-hand with his family through innovative approaches, dynamic strategies, positive attitudes and skills, was further authorized to conduct a national educational fund campaign for the period from September 25, 1997, to September 25, 1998, thereby serving as a model for related rehabilitation outreach programs;
WHEREAS, Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc., as the only private, non-profit organization with objectives directed to these noble ends, deserves, nation-wide support and needs additional time to raise funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Tahanan Outreach Projects & Service, Inc., (TOPS), to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.1aшphi1
