[ Proclamation No. 24, September 30, 1998 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association was authorized under Proclamation No. 1055, series of 1997, to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association has for the last 48 years been deeply involved in the promotion of mental health, as well as the cure and rehabilitation of patients with mental illness;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association needs the support of all civic spirited citizens to enable the organization to carry on with its laudable projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Philippine Mental Health Association to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year, effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.1aшphi1
