[ Proclamation No. 17, September 11, 1998 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE CANCER SOCIETY, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., was authorized under Proclamation No. 1096, dated September 25, 1997, to conduct a national fund campaign for the period from September 25, 1997 to September 25, 1998;

WHEREAS, to enable the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., to carry out its fight against cancer, it is necessary that its fund campaign be extended for another year;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.1aшphi1
