DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 1998, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO

WHEREAS, Friday, June 19, 1998, marks the 137th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Laguna, his birthplace, should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, June 19, 1998, as a special day in the Province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
