DELINEATING THE TERRITORIAL BOUNDARIES OF THE DUMAGUETE PORT ZONE
Upon the recommendation of the Regional Development Council of Region VII (Central Visayas) and the Philippine Ports Authority, and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby delineate the territorial boundaries of the Port of Dumaguete in the Province of Negros Oriental consisting of a total area of 799,645.00 square meters, more or less, as defined by the herein technical description:
“Beginning at point marked 1 on the plan, thence to point 2 at a distance of 355.00 m with bearing DUE North, thence to point 3 at a distance of 500.00 m with bearing DUE East, thence to point 4 at a distance of 1,275.00 m with bearing S00º 48 ‘W, thence to point 5 at a distance of 829.00 m with bearing DUE West, thence to point 6 at a distance of 90.85 m with bearing N08º 58" W, thence to point 7 at a distance of 72.93 m with bearing N09º 56" E, thence to point 8 at a distance of 86.82 m with bearing N00º 56" E, thence to point 9 at a distance of 40.69 m with bearing N36º 15" E, thence to point 10 at a distance of 18.50 m with bearing N29º 51" E, thence to point 11 at a distance of 18.13 m with bearing N29º 50" E, thence to point 12 at a distance of 76.69 m with bearing N29º 50" E, thence to point 13 at a distance of 18.02 m with bearing N29º 54" E, thence to point 14 at a distance of 96.60 m with bearing N29º 51" E, thence to point 15 at a distance of 26.10 m with bearing N35º 00" E, thence to point 16 at a distance of 37.66 m with bearing N38º 55" E, thence to point 17 at a distance of 164.40 m with bearing N40º 24" E, thence to point 18 at a distance of 40.58 m with bearing N38º 05" E, thence to point 19 at a distance of 33.00 m with bearing N33º 00" E, thence to point 20 at a distance of 15.00 m with bearing N28º 00" E, thence to point 21 at a distance of 26.00 m with bearing N21º 30" E, thence to point 22 at a distance of 24.00 m with bearing N18º 00" E, thence to point 1, the point of beginning at a distance of 145.00 m with bearing N02º 30 E.”
Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 857 (Revised PPA Charter issued on 23 December 1975), as amended, the Philippine Ports Authority, which exercises administrative jurisdiction over the Dumaguete Port Zone, shall implement a program for the proper zoning, planning, development and utilization of the port, consistent with the regional development plans of the Government.
The technical description and area covered by this proclamation are subject to change upon approval of the actual survey.1aшphi1
