MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 1231, May 24, 1998 ] DELINEATING THE TERRITORIAL BOUNDARIES OF THE TANDAYAG PORT ZONE Upon the recommendation of the Regional Development Council of Region VII (Central Visayas) and the Philippine Ports Authority and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V . RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby delineate the territorial boundaries of the Port of Tandayag in Negros Oriental, consisting of a total area of 190,750.59 square meters, more or less, as defined by the herein technical description: “Beginning at point marked 1 on the plan, thence to point 2 at a distance of 200.00 m with bearing N15º 00" E, thence to point 3 at a distance of 300.00 m with bearing due east, thence to point 4 at a distance of 489.48 m with bearing due south, thence to point 5 at a distance of 453.30 m with bearing due west, thence to point 6 at a distance of 150.00 m with bearing due north, thence to point 7 at a distance of 80.00 m with bearing N26º 30" E, thence to point 8 at a distance of 70.00 m with bearing N46º 00" E, thence to point 9 at a distance of 18.00 m with bearing N06º 00" E, thence to point 10 at a distance of 4.00 m with bearing N41º 30" W, thence to point 11 at a distance of 7.00 m with bearing N49º 00" E, thence to point 1, the point of beginning at a distance of 11.00 m with bearing N87º 00" E.” Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 857 (Revised PPA Charter issued on 23 December 1975), as amended, the Philippine Ports Authority, which exercises administrative jurisdiction over the Tandayag Port Zone, shall implement a program for the proper zoning, planning, development and utilization of the port, consistent with the regional development plans of the Government.
