CREATING AND DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN BARRIO PAPAYA, MUNICIPALITY OF NASUGBU, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916
Upon recommendation of the Director General, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and Resolution No. 98-070, dated 06 April 1998 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as a Special Economic Zone (ECOZONE), an area located in Barrio Papaya, Municipality of Nasugbu, Province of Batangas, consisting a total area of ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY ONE (1,955,431) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
“A parcel of land (Lot 780-31 of the subdivision plan, Psd-041019-002326 being a portion of Lot 280, Psd-04-015597, situated in the Barrio of Papaya, Municipality of Nasugbu, Province of Batangas, Island of Luzon. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by cyl. cons. Mons. 15 x 60 cms., bearings true, date of the original survey on May 1905 and that of the subdivision survey on August 3-24, 1992 executed by Engineer Maria Elena L. Lazaro and was approved on May 24, 1993.
The implementation of this Proclamation shall be subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 and its implementing Rules and Regulations.1aшphi1
