CREATING AND DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY BUANOY, MUNICIPALITY OF BALAMBAN, PROVINCE OF CEBU AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916.
Pursuant to the power vested in me under Republic Act 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as a Special Economic Zone, subject to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 7916, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution No. 96-405 dated 23 December 1996 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located in Barangay Buanoy, Municipality of Balamban, Province of Cebu, henceforth to be known as WEST CEBU INDUSTRIAL PARK - Special Economic Zone, consisting of a total area of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THREE THOUSAND AND TWELVE (253,012) square meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
“A parcel of land (described on plan SK-07-000015, being a consolidation of lot 1570 to lot 1575, to lot 1577 to lot 1582, lot 1584 to lot 1589, lot 1604 to lot 1629, lot 1630 portion, lot 1638 to lot 1640 and lot 1642, all of Balamban Cadastre), situated in the Barangay Buanoy, Municipality of Balamban, Province of Cebu, Island of Cebu.
