CREATING AND DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN BARANGAYS SAN ISIDRO AND LIBERTAD, KAPUTIAN, ISLAND GARDEN CITY OF SAMAL, DAVAO DEL NORTE AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916.

Pursuant to the power vested in me under Republic Act 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as a Special Economic Zone, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, its Implementing Rules and Regulations and Resolution No. 97-317 dated 15 October 1997 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located in Barangays San Isidro and Libertad, Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal, Davao Del Norte, consisting of a total area of TWO MILLION ONE HUNDRED FIFTY NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE (2,159,185) SQUARE METERS more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

“A parcel of land described as plan of Lot 3 & 8, Pcs-112306-001751 Amd. Situated in Barangays San Isidro and Libertad, Municipality of Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal, Davao Del Norte.
