DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1998, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF IFUGAO

WHEREAS, Wednesday, September 2, 1998, dubbed as Victory Day in the Province of Ifugao to commemorate the triumph of democracy by the Filipino-American soldiers during the World War II;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Ifugao be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book 1, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, September 2, 1998 as a special day in the Province of Ifugao.
