AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 1063, DATED AUGUST 26, 1997
Upon recommendation of the General Manager, Philippine Ports Authority and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 1063, dated August 26, 1997, which declared the Pantao Port in Libon, Albay as part of the Port System of the country by correcting the technical description thereof which should read as follows:
“Beginning at a point marked 1 on the plan, thence to point 2 at a distance of 647 m with bearing S 46 deg. 55 min. W, thence to point 3 at a distance of 590 m with bearing N 75 deg. 15 min. W, thence to point 4 at a distance of 1,000 m with bearing N 08 deg. 10 min. E, thence to point 5 at a distance of 1,219 m with bearing N 85 deg. 11 min. E, thence to point 6 at a distance of 200 m with bearing S 11 deg. 30 min. E, thence to point 7 at a distance of 500 m with bearing S 27 deg. 15 min. W, thence to point 8 at a distance of 200 m with bearing S 43 deg. 30 min. W, thence to point 1, the point of beginning at a distance of 20 m with bearing S 41 deg. 30 min. 8, all in all comprising a total area of 1,157,571.75 sq. m more or less.”
The Pantao Port Zone, as delineated, is hereby placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority, which shall, consistent with the regional industrial plans of the Government, implement a program for the proper zoning, planning, development and utilization of the port.1aшphi1
