[ Proclamation No. 1192, April 5, 1998 ]

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 11, 1998, AS A SPECIAL DAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, April 11, 1998, falls on Saturday, between Good Friday and Easter Sunday;

WHEREAS, the said day, April 11, 1998, may be declared a special day without detriment to public service to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe and ponder on the significance of the Lenten season;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 11, 1998, a special day throughout the country.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
