DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1998, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN ZAMBOANGA CITY

WHEREAS, Thursday, February 26, 1998, marks the 61st Charter Anniversary of Zamboanga City;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of Zamboanga City be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their citys history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, February 26, 1998, as a special day in Zamboanga City.
