DECLARING MAHAGNAO VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BURAUEN AND LA PAZ, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AS PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7586 (NIPAS ACT) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS MAHAGNAO VOLCANO NATURAL PARK

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby set aside and declare Mahagnao Volcano National Park located in the Municipalities of Burauen and La Paz, Province of Leyte, as Protected Area under the category of Natural Park, subject to private rights, if any, as described in DENR NIPAS Map No. RO8-2:

It shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and shall be administered in accordance with the Republic Act No. 7586 and its implementing rules and regulations.
