DECLARING JICONTOL WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF MASLOG, DOLORES AND CAN-AVID, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR, AS A PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7586 (NIPAS ACT of 1992) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS JICONTOL NATURAL PARK
Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the power vested upon me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby set aside and declare Jicontol Watershed Forest Reserve situated in the Municipalities of Maslog, Dolores and Can-Avid, Province of Eastern Samar, as a Protected Area under the category of Natural Park as described in DENR NIPAS Map No. RO8 - 1:

It shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and shall be administered in accordance with Republic Act No. 7586 and its implementing rules and regulations.
