MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 1154, January 30, 1998 ] FURTHER AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 922, DATED 16 JUNE 1992, TRANSFERRING THE ADMINISTRATIVE JURISDICTION OF LANAO PEOPLES PARK AND PUBLIC LIBRARY FROM THE LANAO PARK AND LIBRARY FOUNDATION AND THE MARANAO HERITAGE FOUNDATION TO THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF LANAO DEL SUR WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 922 segregated 30,697 square meters from the Camp Amai Pakpak military reservation in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur for the Lanao Peoples Park and Public Library under the administrative jurisdiction of the Lanao Park and Library Foundation in cooperation with the Maranao Heritage Foundation; WHEREAS, Section 17 (a & b) Item (3 (vi) of R.A. 7160 and Section 17 (a & b) Item 3 (f), Book One of the Muslim Mindanao Autonomous Act No. 25 (MMAA No. 25) mandate that the Provincial Government shall provide for efficient and effective basic services including but not limited to provincial buildings, provincial jails, freedom parks and other assembly areas and other similar facilities; WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur has expressed its willingness to administer the property in line with its provincial development plans and programs; WHEREFORE, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby further amend Proclamation No. 922 dated 16 June 1992, transferring the administrative jurisdiction of the Lanao Peoples Park and Public Library from the Lanao Park and Library Foundation and Maranao Heritage Foundation to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
