DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 31 TO APRIL 6, 1997 AS OFFICE MACHINE INDUSTRY WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Office Machine Distributors Association (POMDA), an industry-oriented organization composed of distributors of well-known office machines, seeks relevance with the needs and requirements of the business and government sectors;

WHEREAS, POMDA, which serves as an information center by keeping the public informed of the developments in the office machine industry, will be holding an exhibit entitled “POMDA – 25 Years of Leadership in Office Automation” on April 2 to 5, 1997 at the Philippine Trade Training Center.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to focus national attention on the important role of modern office equipment as tools of economic progress and technological development.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from March 31 to April 6, 1997, as Office Machine Industry Week under the auspices of the Philippine Office Machine Distributors Association, Inc.1aшphi1
